6. Skegness
A section of Southview Leisure Park, in Skegness, following a major fire. No one was injured or seriously hurt in the outbreak, however substantial damage was caused to the swimming pool and Southview’s Boathouse bar and restaurant adjacent to the golf course. The park, however, managed to re-open the following day, making a number of alternative arrangements for guests. A £3.5m-plus refurbishment of the site followed. Photo: Skegness Standard
7. Sleaford
Members of Sleaford and District Round Table behind the bar at the 2014 Oktoberfest. The event, organised by the club, was brought forward to September from October that year in the hope of capturing better weather. It was also moved from the rugby club to the Boston Road Recreation Ground to improve access. Photo: David Dawson
