Here are six stories featured in our titles a decade ago – one each from the Boston Standard, Horncastle News, Louth Leader, Market Rasen Mail, Skegness Standard and Sleaford Standard.

5. East Kirkby
East Kirkby's Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre lending its support to an appeal to raise £500,000 to make a film inspired by Bomber Command. The site was backing the project of Lincolnshire filmmakers Andy Burn, 48, and son Callum, 22, of Tin Hat Productions. The pair were hoping to raise half-a-million pounds through an online appeal to make their first feature production, Our Shining Sword. The heritage centre, which has its own Lancaster Bomber, was used for shooting a trailer for the film and a pitch for the online appeal. The centre had also given the go-ahead for it to be used if the crowdfunding drive is successful. The film would go on to be released in 2019 as Lancaster Skies. Photo: Contributor
