TEN YEARS AGO: Wainfleet pupils’ lesson in ‘Our Community’
Wainfleet children had been learning about the life of their community 10 years ago.
Lessons were delivered by police community support officer Jayne Richardson and Magdalen Primary School teacher Catherine James.
Called ‘Our Community’, the programme was funded by the East Midlands Development Agency and co-ordinated by Young Enterprise.
Children were encouraged to take pride in their local community and to get involved with it.
