TEN YEARS AGO: Young dance talent in Boston meet guide dog they sponsored and named
Students from Boston’s Allen School of Dance are pictured 10 years ago meeting the guide dog they sponsored and named.
The school chose to support Guide Dogs through the sale of tickets for a show they had staged recently, raising £7,500.
They then decided to dedicate £5,000 of their donation to name and support a guide dog puppy through its first year.
The puppy, named Allen, is pictured in the centre, to the left of local volunteer and guide dog owner Mary Clark.
