24th year for Sleaford show

On Saturday, Sleaford Historic Car and Motorcycle Show is back for its 24th year.

The show takes place at Lafford Terrace from 10.30am to 4.30pm, and there is excitement brewing already.

There will be attractions from Miller Magic, food stalls on behalf of Sleaford & District Lions and Sharpes’ Sundays, and charity and trade stands including John Peat Motors and Butler Electrical, with many more on the day.

The show is sponsored each year by local businesses, and the list for this year’s sponsors is is huge, with over 30 businesses stepping forward.

Secretary Emma Kiteley-Connon said: “Local businesses help keep this show going, year in and year out, with their generous sponsorships for different trophies and items that help make the show what it is.”

Emma wanted to give special thanks to those behind the running of the show, adding “Along with the committee and the hard work of the show day helpers, all of which are volunteers, the Sleaford Historic Car & Motorcycle show grows in strength and popularity.

“Next year will mark the show’s 25th Anniversary and the public can look forward to something a bit special.”
