Audition for theatre group

Old Forge Productions are a professional touring company, founded with a view to providing quality small cast touring productions to venues in the UK.

“For us, theatre should be vital, immediate and raw as that unique form of story-telling which brings the characters face-to-face with the audience on an intimate human level,” said Nikki Thompson from the group.

“Minimal set and simple direction gives the characters a freedom to speak. Our hope is that they may have something exciting, interesting or funny to say to you.”

Old Forge Productions are currently undergoing exciting changes and we will soon be touring productions of Talking Heads by Alan Bennett and My Brilliant Divorce by Geraldine Aron and are also in the process of casting for upcoming shows.

They are specifically looking for:

- One female, playing age 18-25 to play Alice in Closer

- One male, playing age 25-30 to play Dan in Closer

Nikke added: “We are also always looking for new acting talent. Due to the nature of our rehearsals and touring schedule, we would recommend local actors only need apply at the present time.”
