Beer and Jazz Festival on farm

Butchers in Lincolnshire think that they have found the perfect recipe for a great day out: bangers, beer and jazz.

Staff at Uncle Henry’s farm shop near Gainsborough are firing up their barbecue and preparing for a day of laid back New Orleans tunes for local jazz quartet Deep South set to mark their fifth birthday.

This year promises to top all previous beer and jazz festivals hosted by the farm shop especially as it will feature the debut of a special fifth Birthday Banger - a cheese and pineapple sausage!

The sausage designed with the kid’s party classic, cheese and pineapple on a stick in mind is sure to pique visitor’s curiosity.

As well as having the opportunity to enjoy new sausages created by the award winning team, including the gold winning Lincolnshire Sausage, one lucky festival goer will have the chance to make their very own batch.

Owner of Uncle Henry’s Steve Wards said he was really excited about the festival.

“What more could you ask for form a Saturday in September than to be sitting sampling beer and listening to great music?” he said. “We look forwards to welcoming back all our regular customers as well as plenty of new faces for what will be the best beer and jazz festival we have done” he adds.

The Beer and Jazz Festival will be at Uncle Henry’s Farm, Grayingham near Gainsborough, on Saturday 10th September from 11.30am to 4.30pm.

Entry to the event is free
