Nominated for 11 Tony Awards on Broadway, and based on the hit 1988 film staring Steve Martin and Michael Caine, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels features hi-jinks and hilarity on the French Riviera.

Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money.

Freddy Benson, more humbly, swindles women by awakening their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother’s failing health.

After meeting on a train, Lawrence and Freddy attempt to work together only to find that this small French town isn’t big enough for both of them.

They agree on a bet; the first one to extract $50,000 from a young female target – the heiress Christine Colgate – wins and the loser has to leave town.

A hilarious battle of cons ensues that will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the end.

The show is at the Theatre Royal from Wednesday, October 26 to Saturday, November 5.

Tickets are available from the CAODS box office on 08456 525021 or online at www.caods.co.uk
