Choral Society carol show

A TALENTED collective of local musicians are set to dazzle Gainsborough with a top Christmas concert.

Gainsborough Choral Society’s annual Carols for All Concert returns to put the town in a festive mood - with a little help from gifted folk both young and old from around the town.

As well as stunning performances from themselves, the Society have also invited Lincoln Pro Musica Orchestra to join them and will be augmented by musicians from Queen Elizabeth’s High School.

School choirs will join the Gainsborough Choral Society, adding an extra dimension to the concert by performing a short set of carols on their own, conducted by Charlotte Turner and accompanied by Simon Corner.

Further seasonal music is provided by QEHS Swing Band, conducted by Janice Stockdale.

And of course, it just wouldn’t be Christmas without a little bit of audience participation

Gainsborough Choral Society present their annual Carols for All concert at All Saints Church on Saturday 10th December at 7.30pm.

Tickets are on sale at Horsleys, Church Street and cost £6 for adults and 50p for accompanied children under the age of 14.
