It was official Christmas Jumper Day today in aid of Save the Children charity and lots of schools and workplaces entered into the spirit of it.

These included staff and students at Kesteven and Sleaford High School who ran a Tinsel the Teacher contest to design a festive T-shirt, the winning design worn by Head of Year 7 Julie Pankhurst and by the Year 9 design was worn by German teacher Lee Rooke. William Alvey School pupils have been sending their photos in all week, Ruskington Chestnut Street School and Leasingham St Andrew’s School all joined in and St George’s Academy saw sixth formers asked to pay £1 to wear their woolly.
