It follows similar event that proved to be a success in previous years.

The showcase will feature work of artists from the area.

It will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7.

Among those having their work exhibited will be landscape artist Barry Gray.

Barry has sold his work all over the world and has shown in the Royal Academy of Arts’ Summer Exhibition.

In addition, he has taught fine art in both the UK and overseas.

There will also be paintings from the Heckington and Great Hale art groups and other individuals too.

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm on both days.

Some items of art and crafts will be for sale.

Refreshments will also be available throughout both days.

Andrew Key, chairman of the heritage and tourism committee from the church, said ‘the magnificent medieval church will be the ideal backdrop’ for the art going on show.
