Cool jazz with the Jay Phelps Quartet in Lincoln
The Jay Phelps Quartet will play a headline set at the Lincoln Jazz Club next week.
Jay Phelps is a Vancouver-born, London-based Canadian who was tutored by Vancouver’s top jazz and classical trumpeters and came to the UK aged 17.
He distinguished himself early on as the youngest band leader in the Vancouver International Jazz Festival’s history.
His second album is due for release next year.
Their Lincoln gig is on Friday, November 19 at Stokes Cafe Collection starting at 7pm.
