The sessions are being offered by arts NK - the team of visual and performing arts specialists - in association with glass artist Liz Pearson.

One course is for beginners, the other for improvers.

Glass fusing involves joining different coloured glass pieces together by partly melting the glass at high temperatures in a kiln.

It is hoped that a new glass fusing group can be established in Sleaford following the courses.

Both courses will take place at the National Centre for Craft and Design (NCCD) on Wednesday mornings, from 10am-12.30pm. The beginner’s course starts on February 17, and the improvers’ course begins on February 24.

The courses cost £85 for residents of North Kesteven and £95 for those who live outside of the district. This includes materials.
