Curtain call for Blyth Players

BLYTH Players are set to take to the stage for their latest production - Curtain Call.

This farcical comedy, directed by Richard Fletcher, focuses on a day in the life of a theatre manager as he is forced to contend with an alcoholic producer, a two timing stage hand and a chairman of the board with his fingers in the till!

All the while trying to put on a production of Oklahoma with real corn and horses!

As the events unfold the play proves that the action backstage is often more entertaining than that in front of the curtain.

The performances will be staged in the Barnby Memorial Hall Blyth between 13th and 15th October.

Curtain rises at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £5.50 for adults and £4.50 concessions which can be bought from Blyth Players’ secretery Mick Taylor on (01909) 531289 or from Blyth Post Office.
