The show (suitable for ages 11-plus) tells the story of how Charles Darwin came to discover the secrets of evolution and why it took him more than 20 years before came to publish his idea.

It was nominated for the Adelaide Fringe Best Production and Best Performer Awards in 2009 and won a ThreeWeeks Editors’ Award at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. In the press, it has been hailed as ‘remarkably inventive’ and ‘thoroughly entertaining’.

A spokesman for Tangram Theatre said: “It’s a show packed with big ideas, terrible puns, brilliant physical comedy and six cracking original songs about everything from blasted boring barnacles to the perils of marrying your own cousin.”
