From West End to Worksop

A WEST End performer is to take to the stage at a charity concert supporting the youth work of Christ Church Worksop.

Caroline Hardman, who graduated from the prestigious West End theatre college Italia Conti Academy, will perform treasured classics from the golden era of MGM and Roger and Hammerstein, favourites and new material.

She will be returning to her home town on Saturday 4th February for one night only.

“It was an honour to be invited to perform at Christ Church,” she said.

“This community supported me during my childhood and early teens, and the youth work was a huge part of that.”

“As a professional London performer, returning to perform in the Midlands after so long feels like stepping into a different world, but it’s great to be able to use my vocation to help the local area.”

Since graduating, Caroline has performed in numerous caberets and shows on London’s fringe circuit, working with high-profile industry professionals and theatre companies.

And musical theatre is something Caroline is passionate about.

“It’s always been a tough industry to crack,” she said. “I look forward to performing some excellent little-known material in From Worksop To The West End, alongside the songs we all know and love.”

Her performance at Christ Church Worksop on Thievesdale Close will begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 and all proceeds go to helping the church’s youth work in the community.
