Horncastle gardens open to the public

A medium sized garden with flowers and fruit, fish pond and flowers can be found at 23 Accommodation Road.

Not far away is 40 Accommodation Road, which is packed with herbaceous perennials and climbers in a garden that wraps around three sides of a bungalow.

Just round the corner is 15 Elmhirst Road, owned by Lincolnshire County Volunteer for the NGS Sylvia Ravenhall, which is a long and narrow town garden, with plenty of secret corners - and teas on sale.

Finally, 30 Elmhirst Road contains colourful planting, raised vegetable beds, a small greenhouse and fruit, plus some quirky handmade features to raise a smile.

The gardens are open from 11am to 4.30pm, with combined admission £5 (children free).
