The Rolls Royce Science Prize offers schools the chance to implement innovative teaching ideas in science and mathematics into their school or college.

The school wrote a plan on how to inspire pupils and became one of 50 shortlisted and awarded £1,000 each to help them implement their ideas, earning a special merit award. It is now forming a plan to be one of nine schools to win a £5,000 prize to fully develop their action plans.
