Unattended firepit causes house fire in Leadenham
An unattended firepit led to a house fire in Leadenham on Saturday morning, according to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Crews from Sleaford and Lincoln were called out to the property in North Road at 8.18am to a report of a property on fire.
A downpipe and fascia of the house were damaged by the fire, along with two metres of fencing and four metres of conifers as the fire took hol.
It was put out by the firefighters using a hose.
