Impact Dance

Boys and girls from around the area are invited to join the Impact Dance Troupe in Gainsborough which continues to grow with weekly classes and more than 30 people attending each week.

The troupe say that they hope to get even bigger in 2012 and show off their routines in a performance later this year.

Troupe Leader Claire Thompson said that sessions with Ipmact were very worthwhile.

“The sessions offer the opportunity for boys and girls to learn dance or develop the skills they already have further,” she said.

“It has been fantastic since it started, with around 30 dancers attending the sessions every week”.

Lincolnshire Active Community Network set up the group.

Shane Ward from LACN added: “Claire is a great teacher and the children have a great time whilst learning new moves.”

Both boys and girls can join the Troupe with sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Trent Valley Academy Dance Studio.

The Troupe caters for different age groups with different sessions running during the week:

Tuesday: 7–8pm - Ages 12 – 16 years

Thursday: 6–7pm - Ages 4 – 7 years

Thursday: 7–8pm - Ages 8 – 11 years.
