In 1985 the miners were defeated and the media circus went home.

Godber’s epic new play traces what happened to miner Harry and his wife Dot in the 30 years after the strike.

Suddenly they were thrown together, with new battles to fight, and new jobs to hold down, from window cleaning in Wakefield to running a boarding house in Bridlington, life would never be the same again.

The play is at LPAC on Saturday, February 27 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £15 and £13 on 01522 837600 or www.lpac.co.uk
