Written by Eric Idle, this is the show based on the hit film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Join King Arthur and his knighs of the round table, the wise Sir Bedevere, the dashing Sir Galahad, the brave Sir Lancelot and the not-quite-so-brave Sir Robin as they are tasked by God himself (played by Eric Idle – he’s in the show for 26 seconds!) to find the Holy Grail.

On the way, Arthur and his knights will encounter such terrifying challenges as a killer rabbit, the insane black knight, the Knights that say Ni and a very rude Frenchman.

The show also features the glamorous Lady of the Lake, Arthur’s loyal squire Patsy, a Scottish enchanter, a learned historian, some Finnish people, Brother Maynard, a young prince and a king from the north.

And as well as hilarious lines aplenty, the show also has a memorable score with numbers like The Song That Goes Like This, I’m All Alone, Diva’s Lament, Knights of the Round Table and, of course, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

The show is on at the Performing Arts Centre from Monday, June 20 to Saturday, June 25 at 7.30pm each night.

Tickets priced £16 and £13 are available on 01522 837600 or www.lpac.co.uk
