Lecture on Dakotas, RAF station and hall

Ian Hindle and Paul Stoddart will give the talk, titled Wings Of Aesculapius, in the Old Gymnasium at the Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre, on Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Retired group captain Ian Hindle served in the Royal Air Force for 31 years as a surgical consultant both in the UK and abroad.

His expertise is used by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust as a non- executive director and he is chairman of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charity Trust.

Paul Stoddard served in the Royal Air Force for eight years as an aero-systems engineer officer. His current position is an operational analysis lecturing in the UK and his knowledge and research includes the Dakota aircraft.

Admission is £5 to visitors to include refreshments but is free to members of talk organisers Friends of Metheringham Airfield and veterans of 106 Squadron.
