There's plenty to keep the kids entertained during the Easter break, with a host of special events and activities planned across the county's heritage attractions.

Lincoln castle will be holding live re-enactments and performances throughout the Easter holidays.

There are also demonstrations, workshops and spring crafts to make and take away.

Over at Gainsborough, the Old Hall is holding an Easter hunt, from March 25 to April 11, and on April 2 and 3, there is the chance to see the Old Hall brought to life with re-enactors going about the daily tasks of a 15th century manor house.

There is also the new Easter Friday Fun Club, 10am to 12 noon and 1pm to 4pm.

Lincolnshire chalk streams is running some free events.

These include a story-telling morning in Tealby Village Hall, with Julia Donaldson’s popular tale of ‘Tiddler’ the fish and his adventures with other water creatures.
