Medieval action
the PAST will be brought back to life with a weekend of Medieval re-enactment at Gainsborough Old Hall.
Thomas Lord Burgh’s Retinue will be in residence at the old manor house to take visitors back in time a few centuries with archery, cooking, displays and much more.
The Retinue is dedicated to the accurate recreation of Sir Thomas Burgh’s Retinue and Household during the 15th century, with special emphasis on The Wars of The Roses.
The Heritage Open Days will be at Gainsborough Old Hall on 10th and 11th September. Entry is free.
