Midsummer night dreams at the castle
Open-air Shakespeare comes to Lincoln Castle next week as Illyria present A Midsummer Night's Dream.
One of the Bard’s most popular plays, A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows four couples – three human and one fairy – whose passions are tested when a troupe of actors rehearse a play about a doomed love affair in heady mix of magic and mischief.
The performance will be at the castle on Thursday, July 28 at 7.30pm (gates open 6.30pm)
Bring your own refreshments (drinks in plastic bottles) – plus clothing suitable for an ‘English summer’
