Directed by Ridley Scott, The Martian stars Matt Damon as an astronaut who is presumed dead and abandoned on Mars during a fierce storm in a mission gone array.

Left with just his ingenuity and wit he must find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.

There will be food and drink available on site, with proceeds going to the hall.

Films will begin at 7.30 with doors open from 7pm.

Entry is £3 with £1 of all proceeds being donated to the Lea Village Hall committee for use within the hall and local community.

All other proceeds are put back into the community cinema to allow it to run for a full year.
