New evening classes at NCCD to launch

Three new evening classes at Sleaford's National Centre for Craft and Design (NCCD) start next week.

Wood-working with Mark Clarke offers the chance to explore the basics of woodwork and get to grips with wood as a material. Four sessions cost £100 and includes basic materials required.

Silversmithing with Andrew Poole covers soldering, sawing, hammering, joining, polishing, and finishing to create your own bespoke jewellery. Four sessions cost £100 and includes basic materials required.

Feltmaking with Laura Mabbutt provides the opportunity to create flat felt pictures and 3D seamless forms using wet felting techniques and natural fibres. Four sessions cost £60 and includes basic materials required.

The classes are held on Tuesdays, February 9, March 8, April 12, and May 10, at selected times between 6pm and 9pm.

Feltmaking with Laura Mabbutt is suitable for ages 12-plus. All other workshops are suitable for adults only.
