New holiday club for Isle children

Children in the Isle will be able to attend a newly created holiday club in Epworth when the half-term holidays start in a couple of weeks’ time.

The Skools Out holiday club has been created as an extension of the Skools Out after school club by childminders Tiddleypeeps and Mrs Doubtfires to fill a gap in the local facilities.

The club will operate during every holiday and half-term except for Christmas and will give children a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities aimed at being both constructive and fun.

Skools Out operates from the Children’s Centre off Birchfield Road, Epworth and will take children of primary school age from anywhere in the Isle. The club will operate in half-term week from October 26 – 30 running on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 5.30pm each day.

Ofsted registered Skools Out will provide the children with hot and cold food three times a day and lots to keep them occupied in the excellent facilities at the centre which includes use of the school field.

Among things already planned are Mini Kicks offering football training and games as well as a visit by Sam’s Safari with many different animals from around the world.

Places at the club must be booked in advance and are already filling fast. Full details and registration form are available at the club’s website Skools Out
