New series of salsa lessons

For anyone inspired by the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing, there is a chance for complete beginners to learn salsa in Skegness in the coming weeks.

Lincoln-based Salsa Loca has expanded its operation into the resort.

It is run by professional salsa teacher and performer John Barry, with assistance from his wife Emma and Sarah Straughton.

The salsa club is holding weekly salsa classes for complete beginners on Thursdays at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in North Parade.

The first of six sessions was held last week, but newcomers are still welcome as the course continues.

Classes run from 7-9pm.

This is followed by social drinking and dancing from 9-10pm.

The classes cost £6 per session.
