North Cotes flying club set for flagship annual event

It is usually the busiest event of the year at the flying club, with aircraft from all over the UK flying in. The classic cars will be provided by the Lincolnshire Classic Car Club for the first time, with the Porsche Club promising to being a selection of their presigious vehicles to mark the occasion.

Go along, meet the pilots and enjoy the many different types of planes and cars on show.

On the Saturday there will be a Spitfire flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and on Sunday club member Tim Shaw will be signing copies of his first published novel ‘Stoop to the Sky’.

Admission is free and refreshments will be available. It starts at 10am and lasts until 4pm. The airfield is located on the coast, south of Cleethorpes near North Coates Village.
