Starting tomorrow, nine acts were due to take centre stage for one night, with the line-up comprised of the U.K.'s number one tribute acts.

However, today (Friday) - following a recent rise in Covid-19 cases locally - the organisers took the difficult decision to cancel the concerts. A statement reads: "We have been closely monitoring the case rates in Newark as well as liaising with the local Council, and given current rising coronavirus rates we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the live music element of our Festival series of events.

“The safety of our audiences and staff is paramount to us, and given the length of the live music element of our Festival series, we believe taking this step is the best decision, while disappointing to us as passionate fans and supporters of live music.

“Nightflix drive-in films are continuing to be screened as scheduled. We will be screening the movie elements of each event as scheduled, for ticketholders who want to attend.

“All ticketholders are being informed.

“We are looking at dates in late October to reschedule our music events and will confirm new timings as soon as possible. Ticketholders can find more information on our website”
