Billingborough Amateur Theatre Society (BATS) present Cinderella at Billingborough Village Hall across three performances on Friday and Saturday.

A limited number of tickets are still available for the shows (7.30pm on the Friday and at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on the Saturday). They are available from 01529 240936, priced at £5 (free for under threes, providing they sit on a knee).

BATS formed in the 1960s and ran for more than two decades before coming to a natural end.

It was revived last year after local resident Karen Goodale put an advert in a few shop windows about the formation of an amateur dramatic group called BATS; she had a number of years earlier received the blessing of BATS founder member Ivan Spencer to revive the group.

It is now looking for new members to join at £12 per year. This includes actors, front of house, costume design, make-up, hair artists, musicians, props, and back stage work.

A BATS spokesman said: “We are a friendly and approachable group and hope to increase our numbers.”
