Russell Howard is coming back to help the Engine Shed celebrate
The first of these to be announced will see comedian Russell Howard take to the stage in October for a work-in progress show, as he tries out brand new material.

Hide AdRussell Howard is one of the UK’s most successful comedians, performing his live shows to more one million people.
His latest and biggest arena tour Wonderbox included a four night sell-out run at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as capacity shows across the USA and Australia.
Russell is the writer and star of BBC Three’s most popular entertainment show Russell Howard’s Good News and has released four bestselling live stand-up DVDs: Russell Howard Live (2008), Russell Howard Live: Dingledodies (2009) and Right Here, Right Now (2011), and Russell Howard: Wonderbox (2014).

Hide AdHe is also well known for TV appearances on shows like Mock The Week and Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2), Would I Lie To You and Live At The Apollo (BBC1), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and Russell Howard’s Stand-Up Central (Comedy Central).
He has also been a presenter on BBC 6 Music in the past.
More pertinently, he was the first big name to perform at the Engine Shed when it first opened.
The Engine Shed started life 10 years ago as the £6 million renovation of a disused railway storage container.

Hide AdIt has now developed into one of the largest live music and entertainments venues in Lincolnshire.
Across the years The Engine shed has hosted some of the biggest and best artists in the industry including Kings of Leon, Ben Howard, Sarah Millican and Fatboy Slim to name a few.
Hayley Jayne, from Lincoln University Students’ Union, said: “We’re really excited about the venue’s anniversary shows.
“It’s fantastic to be able to celebrate such a landmark.
