Sea shanty band set to sing up a storm

Kimber’s Men bring their Still Singing Up A Storm show to Harmston Memorial Hall on Friday at 7.45pm.

The band are a group of singers and musicians whose shows are full of humour, stories, music, and toe-tapping songs, performed with acapella harmonies or accompaniment on guitars, whistles, bandolin, and bagpipes.

The group include John Bromley, who is billed as one of the finest bass singers on the British folk scene, and founder member Joe Stead, who has performed with legendary American singer Pete Seeger - writer of such classics as Where Have All The Flowers Gone? and If I Had A Hammer.

Following numerous TV appearances and tours across the UK, Kimber’s Men promise a hugely entertaining evening of stories, music and song.
