Over the past four years, Sheffield Doc Fest has massively expanded its marketplace activity, as well as its cross platform, interactive and digital programme. These developments and the stunning film programme and often controversial conference sessions are what attract over 2000 delegates from around the globe and thousands of general public.

This year’s programme includes a wide range of topics. Behind the Beats will screen films that come face to face with your idols, exploring their stories in a haze of sex and docs and rock n’ roll in their music documentary strand.

Other highlights include Best of British which will will be a showcase for Britain’s home-grown talent with some of the very best documentaries made right here in the UK, as well as screenings of rare gems from the BFI archive.
