Snow White bound for Retford

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are returning to Retford’s Majestic Theatre this winter.

The pantomime, inspired by the 1937 Disney film features all of the well known characters including the evil wicked witch, the charming seven dwarfs and the beautiful Snow White.

The roles have been filled by familiar faces including Retford’s Dan Baker as Nurse Knickerbocker and international singing sensation Danielle Hewlett as Snow White.

Producer Jamie Marcus said he was delighted to be returning to Retford with a glittering production for the winter season.

“Coming back here to the Majestic Theatre here in Retford is always a great privilege,” he said.

“The theatre is so beautiful and Snow White will be a wonderful production.”

He added that this year’s production will offer audiences a new and exciting twist.

“I am also extremely excited as, for the first time in Retford, we have a live and interactive magic mirror that you can talk and have a conversation with. So during the performance the children can shout out at the magic mirror and the mirror can shout back!

The production runs from the 5th - 9th January 2012. Tickets are £7 - £12 and are available from the Majestic Theatre box office.
