Taking the lead - enjoy the great outdoors this spring

Dog-walkers are being encouraged to get out and about and explore the great outdoors this April.

CountrysideNK is promoting guided walks with your four-legged friends that take in the beautiful countryside of North Kesteven.

The first walk will take place on Sunday, April 17, at 10am in the village of Nocton.

The walk is approximately four miles and is described as generally good farm tracks. People are advised to allow up to two hours for this walk.

A polite note is that all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Nocton and Dunston is walk number 13 of the collection of Stepping Out walks which has been developed by CountrysideNK.

The walks take in 135 miles of countryside in total.

CountrysideNK also promotes nature sites and educational events.

All the walks have been developed into an easy to read booklet with step-by-step directions to help people along their way. This can be downloaded from www.countrysidenk.co.uk.
