The King is Dead for David Starkey in Lincoln
Acclaimed historian Dr David Starkey is presenting the lecture The King is Dead at Lincoln Drill Hall this weekend.
The Tudor period was a tumultuous one in history.
With over-mighty father confessors, concealed deaths and lethal faction fights over the still-warm corpse, the Tudors died as excitingly as they lived.
The lecture uncovers the astonishingly dramatic story.
David Starkey is well known for a series of acclaimed TV series’, most notably Monarchy on Channel 4.
The lecture, followed by a Q&A session, is on Sunday, September 25 at 7.30pm.
