A158 between Horncastle and Skegness to be resurfaced

The road will be subject to a night-time closure for ‘carriageway resurfacing work’ on the A158 (Partney Road) near Sausthorpe.

The work is scheduled to start on Monday, April 26, and finish on Friday, May 7.

The road will be closed from 7pm to 6am.

Diversions will be in place but the road will re-open to through traffic outside the proposed working hours.

Special arrangements have been made for May 6 (Thursday) which is a local election polling day.

On that day, the council has agreed with contractors that no works will take place on site - or any road closure/diversion route installed - until after 10pm.

This will allow the public to gain access/egress to the Sausthorpe polling station before the 10pm deadline.
