Then the Old Nick Theatre in Gainsborough has the answer as the Workhouse Players present Unravelled this week.

Unravelled is a new production of six short stories

You’ll meet a variety of characters including Audrey whose fear of driving over the Humber Bridge is pivotal to the unravelling of her world.

Then there’s the strange and sinister tale of Mr Sinclair and Arthur, still a rebel at 70.

And why is Jean secretly knitting baby clothes in a cafe?

Discover their stories and more and enjoy complimentary mince pies afterwards.

The pieces are performed by Amanda Austen, Dean Woolley, Sue Hill and Phil Jones.

Performances are from Thursday, December 15 until Saturday, December 15 at 7.30pm each night.

Tickets are £8 and £6 on 01427 239387.
