Celebrating The Year of Lincolnshire Aviation and 100 years of the Central Flying School - this year’s RAF Waddington Air Show looks set to be one to remember.
Held over the first weekend of July each year more than 140,000 visitors enjoy the two day extravaganza.
RAF Waddington, the Royal Air Force’s home of surveillance and reconnaissance, is situated three miles south of the historic Cathedral city of Lincoln and as the largest of all RAF Air Shows, this offers a truly unforgettable day’s entertainment for the whole family.
The spectacular seven-hour flying display features the fabulous Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the RAF Falcons freefall parachute team and many more military and civilian aircraft from the UK and around the world. Latest additions include the Royal Saudi Air Force who will be represented at the Air Show with their national display team, the Saudi Hawks and the Italian Air Force with their fantastic display team Frecce Tricolori. The Air Show includes an extensive range of ground displays and over 250 trade stalls, craft marquees, a traditional funfair, classic cars and vintage military vehicles and two exhibition hangars with hands-on exhibits from the Royal Air Force.
The RAF Waddington International Air Show takes place from 30th June - 1st July.
Advanced tickets are £21 for adults, £11 for children aged five - 15 and £52 for a family of four. Admission is free for children under the age of five. Ticket prices increase on the gate.
