WIN! Gainsborough Folk Festival tickets

GET ready to party the old-fashioned way as the town gets ready for the return of the Gainsborough Folk Festival – and we have two tickets to give away to one lucky reader.

As part of the town’s Octoberfest, the Gainsborough Folk Festival is always one of the highlights of the year on the local entertainment calendar.

The day begins at 12 noon with a harmony singing workshop and progresses through two concerts via informal sessions and a songwriters forum.

Throughout the day, the music will range from traditional to contemporary with a generous serving of humour.

Artists appearing in the afternoon include Vicki Swan and Johnny Dyer, Tom Bliss and John Blanks.

Sandwiched between each act there will be an Audience with Bernard Wrigley – who is well-known from TV programmes such as Dinnerladies and Emmerdale.

The evening will see performances from George Papavgeris and his Los Marbles, Tom Bliss, Bernard Wrigley and Tom Napper.

The Gainsborough Folk Festival takes place at Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough on Saturday 15th October.
