WIN! Tickets to An Evening of Burlesque

Direct from London’s West End, tantalising yet tasteful, camp and colourful, the fascinating art form of Burlesque is coming around – and we have two tickets to give away.

An Evening of Burlesque is a brand-new theatre production that recreates the tradition of Burlesque, giving it a modern-day twist.

Burlesque is back in fashion – the film Burlesque starring Christina Aguilera and Cher was a box office smash earlier this year, following on from the success of Baz Lurhmann’s Moulin Rouge starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

An Evening of Burlesque is the only theatre show bringing this intriguing art form with its long, thrilling tradition to UK theatres with a national tour.

“The show brings variety back to the theatre, combining musical and theatrical parody with the art of striptease, magic, comedy and dance,” says show producer Michael Taylor.

The stars of the show have been playing to full houses regularly in London’s West End.

Michael continued: “We thought it time the rest of the UK joined in the fun.”

He added: “Elegant showgirls combine Parisian charm with Las Vegas glamour in a spectacle that marries live vocal talent with the art of burlesque.”

An Evening of Burlesque is compered by the delectable Kiki Kaboom and includes the cream of British Burlesque talent including Miss Hotcake Kitty, Amber Topaz, Chrys Columbine, Miss Slinky Sparkles, Ginger Blush and The Kalki Hula Girl. With magic, music and song and dance (including traditional fan dances)

The show is for over-18s only.

An Evening of Burlesque will be at Lincoln’s Theatre Royal on Saturday 22nd October.
