THE LEGENDARY sounds of musical giants Simon and Garfunkel are coming to Gainsborough - and we have tickets to give away.

Old friends, Dan Haynes and Pete Richards are back doing what they do best - performing the much loved works of American duo Simon and Garfunkel.

Re-forming their tribute ‘Bookends’ after a three year break, Dan and Pete have a brand new show for 2012 named Simon and Garfunkel - Through the Years.

The show follows the career of the folk-rock duo from Queens, from their first release under a somewhat jovial name of Tom and Jerry, through to and a little beyond the publicised break up following the Bridge Over Troubled Water album.

The show features video clips of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel giving their personal account on their rise to frame, intertwined with the delicate and accurate live performances from Bookends.

With all the classic hits like Mrs Robinson, The Boxer, The Sound of Silence, I Am A Rock, America as well as unforgettable album tracks such as, At The Zoo and Feelin’ Groovy the Simon and Garfunkel - this show is a must see.

Bookends will be performing at Gainsborough’s Trinity Arts Centre on Saturday 3rd November
