Woman gears up for end of lockdown after winning new car

Joanne Roper received the keys of her Mini One 1.5 Classic worth £19k today (Tuesday) after being successful in a competition run for Huawei AppGallery users.

On the run-up to Christmas a range of festive gifts, discounts and vouchers were up for grabs, simply by downloading their favourite apps onto their Huawei phones - with Joanna scooping the top prize overall

“I entered because I love to enter competitions but never expected to actually win," said Joanne, 35. "Winning a car is a once in a lifetime moment and it seems unreal that I've been so lucky.

“I was already saving for a new car, this win means I no longer have to do that and also means I've been able to give my current car to my teenage daughter so that she can start her driving lessons in the next few months.

"I'd like to send massive thanks to Huawei AppGallery - my daughter and I are over the moon!”
