YOU can help Nancy reach top

A TALENTED youngster from Worksop needs YOUR help to get her through to the next stage of a national music competition.

Nancy Eves, 14, was proud to have made it through to the semi-finals of the Live and Unsigned competition after impressing judges at Huddersfield Town Hall last week - but sadly didn’t make it through to the finals.

However, thanks to all her supporters on the day and the publicity from the Worksop Guardian she won an Exposure Award. The prize was a month’s worth of free singing lessons at The Harmony Music School in Sheffield.

Nancy’s mum Noreen said: “She did a great performance and really got a taste for playing a larger venue.”

“She got all positive feedback from all of the judges for being pleasant with lots of potential if she can hone her ability into something unique and different, having a great image, putting on a very mature performance and having a very lovely and dynamic voice.”

- Now YOU can help Nancy get into the final at the O2 Arena in the National Wildcard vote.
