A Lincoln takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Basil, a takeaway at 41 Monks Road, Lincoln was given the score after assessment on March 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Lincoln's 115 takeaways with ratings, 88 (77%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
