This week’s Reader Picture makes a compelling case for getting up early, wrapping up warm, and taking in the spectacle of a new day from the Skegness shoreline.

A pair of observers add atmosphere to the shot. We particularly like how the sun and the colours just above the horizon have been mirrored in the wash left by the waves, giving two sunrises for the price of one.
