North Kesteven road closures: four for motorists to avoid this week

North Kesteven's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

• A46, from 8pm May 31 to 6am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 northbound, Halfway House Roundabout to Swinderby, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A46, from 8pm June 7 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 northbound and southbound, Swinderby to Hykeham, Lane closure due to survey works.

• A46, from 8pm June 8 to 6am June 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 northbound and southbound, Skellingthorpe to Carholme, Lane closure due to survey works.

• A46, from 8pm June 13 to 6am June 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 southbound, Carholme to Skellingthorpe, carriageway closure due to maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
